Smeerp* is a content control system and slush
manager. It automates the manuscript review process and lets editors
keep their slush piles organized. Smeerp eliminates email attachments
and lost files. It allows readers to track the progress of their manuscripts
through the publishing review process.
Smeerp is free!
Editors! You can use the Smeerp system to
manage your slush pile absolutely free. Just sign up for Smeerp
using your zine's contact email and after you have validated your
email, send me an email requesting that you be upgraded to Editor.
Once I verify that you are indeed an Editor I'll upgrade you and
you can start accepting contributions through Smeerp.
You can still use your old-fashioned email attachment methods,
but I think that once you use Smeerp for a while, you will require
all of your contributors to use it.
